Hope someone can help. We have a Panasonic Viera with built in Freeview. Up to about 8 weeks ago we were receiving a large number of Freeview channels - these then started breaking up and we had lines across the analogue channels. We now have five Freeview channels 2 of which are Sky and still lines across the analogue channels. I have checked the Digital website and there are no reported works on Emley Moor. I have reset the TV to factory settings and rescanned. The TV is connected directly to an outside aerial. We live in the S60 area.

Thanks for any help.
Shirley

p hollingworth: Knowledge of your post code (or one from nearby, eg: a shop) would have been of assistance as the transmitters covering your location could have been checked on, however it would appear that your TV or box has picked up Bilsdale rather than Emley Moor, and so even although you could try a second retune the chances are that this might happen again.

You should carry out a "factory reset" or "first time installation" to delete everything stored, then once complete "manually" tune in the muxes required, and in the case of Emley Moor these are as follows/

47(BBC) - 44(ITV1) - 41(HD) - 51(SDN) - 52(ArqA) - 48(ArqB).

p hollingworth: Just noticed that I have accidentally cut off the last digit on the list of Emley Moors muxes, this being Ch48(ArqB / Film 4 etc).
