A quick update.

I have extended the channel comparison page to provide two new facilities. First the TV comparison page now includes Freeview Light as an option.

Secondly, there is now a Radio comparison page that shows the various radio stations on each platform.

What about non Freesat mode Brian ? Surely all the radio stations on Sky are free to air and available in non freesat mode ?

Also, I don't think BBC London is on Freesat in NI. Is it on the fReesat EPG in other regions outside the London area ?

Peter Henderson: The "Freesat" listings are for Freesat in Freesat mode. BBC (Radio) London is on the general Freesat EPG listing.

Interesting Brian.

BBC Radio London is only available on Sky in NI under the other channels option. Hadn't realised it was on the Feesat EPG in NI.

Wonder if BBC Radio Foyle will eventually be on Freesat and Sky ?

BBC radio London 94.9FM is on Freesat From Sky if you have entered a London postcode as EPG number 0152.

Non London postcode enter:
Satellite; Astra 28.2 East
Frequency; 11.954 GHz
Polarisation; Horizontal
Symbol rate (Mbaud); 27.5
FEC; 2/3

Looked for BBC Radio Foyle at http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html
but
could not find it. (RH163LB)

Mark A.: You can't "enter a postcode" with Freesat from Sky, that is the option you get with Freesat.

Yep, BBC Radio Foyle isn't on sattelite just yet Mark. However, I was surmising the fact that since Wales has BBC Cymru, and Scotland BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal both on Freesat, BBC Radio Foyle may come onto freesat eventually at some point ?

BBC Radio London isn't on the Sky EPG in NI so I was surprised that it's apparently on the Freesat one. (BT370UL)

Indeed Brian, it's dependant on were you live. I assume Sky decide which regional variations you get by looking at the address that's associated with the viewing card ?

Peter Henderson: Yes, if you use a viewing card then that determines the TV regions you get on 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105. I'm not sure if there are any changes to the radio section at all, however.

Peter Henderson: The official Freesat data says that the radio stations (including the RTE ones) are provided to everyone. Only 101, 102, 103, 104 have regional versions on Freesat, as there is only 105 on Astra 2D.
