You need satellite equipment that points at the relevant satellite system, for example Astra 1 for German.

hi. I just moved into a new flat where I cannot instal a private dish. There is only SKY installed on the roof. Also I have BT Hub so I may switch to BT View. However, I would like to have polish/french channels. Do you know if there is any way I can get them, please? Maybe there is any free view box that may provide me with polish/french tv?
Thanks in advance

Edyta: If you can't have your own dish then you will not be able to receive the channels as they are not provided on the satellite cluster the dish is pointing to.

Hi Briantist. I bought a satellite system from Lidl, complete with car roof top dish and attachment suckers for travelling. Even when in stable location rubbish reception, as the wind affected the small rubber dish too much BUT when attached to a separately purchased 60" metal dish and attatched to the house, facing South, I can receive German channels just by VERY slightly moving dish more to the East. OK ?
