I've also noticed this. Getting worse each week with terrible blocky redemption and virtually no sound. Now all I get on Dave channel (freeview box) is a "no signal" error. Other channels still picking up fine.

Ruth vH: Dave (12) is transmitted on the same multiplex channel as used by PickTV (11) and Sky News (82), are those latter two programme channels also problematic?

It would also have been of assistance if you had given an idea of your location, this in the form of a post code or one from somewhere nearby, e.g: a shop / Post Office, as this would then have enabled info regarding the transmitter to be accessed.

Same problem. Ever since started recording Suits always ends up pixelating and find cannot do catchup on laptop. Now missed the last 3 episodes, so what's the point.
One would be bad reception, two possibly but three! And don't blame aerial as it's high gain digital which works with all other channels.

DAVE TV - dopped completely from my FREEVIEW BOX
Live on coast (Dover) and believe signal strengh decreased so not to antagonize French/Dutch/BELGIUMS - never mind the fact that they broadcast at very high signal .strength

We are having problems receiving Dave. (postcode SO40). It worked fine when we moved here last year but over the last few weeks reception has been getting steadily worse and the channel became unwatchable - pixilating picture, sound breaking up. I tried a re-tune on two tv's and the re-tune doesn't even find the channel.

Any suggestions?

Stewart: A full postcode would be helpful (so we can see what transmitter your using), but it might be useful to look at the signal strength of your various channels.

Dave is going to be lower power than some other mux's, and if your fgetting a problem with your aerial (corrodsion, etc), then that might mean a degraded signal, which is showing up on Dave first.

richard alford: The first thing to check is that your receiver (TV and/or box) is tuned to the transmitter to which your aerial faces. The most likely possibility is that it is tuned correctly for BBC and not for others.

Bring up the signal strength screen on the following and observe the tuned UHF channel:

BBC One | Salisbury=C57 | Rowridge=C24
ITV | Salisbury=C60 | Rowridge=C27
BBC One HD | Salisbury=C53 | Rowridge=C21
ITV3 | Salisbury=C50 | Rowridge=C25
Pick | Salisbury=C59 | Rowridge=C22
4Music | Salisbury=C55 | Rowridge=C28

If it turns out that some are tuned to the wrong transmitter then you should be able to correct this by either running the scan through with the aerial unplugged (so as to blank what's stored) and then manually tuning the required channels, or; run the automatic tuning scan through with the aerial unplugged for the part of the scan which the unwanted transmitter broadcasts [you will note that Rowridge's channels are low (in the 20s) and Salibury's are high (50s and 60)].
