Why is GB News tv channel listed as a standard definition channel on SKY 515 when it is a HD channel and therefore it is not free because you have to pay for HD on sky. Please make channel a standard def channel and i would have a choice.

Ian Potts:

I dare say that the reason it's listed here as an SD channel on this free helpsite, is because the site owner hasn't had time to do many updates and other changes that have taken place since the 700MHz Clearance programme on Freeview. Whilst some updates are automatic, many have to be done manually.

In any event, this is not GB News or Sky's website, so neither are likely to see your comment here.
The channel is available on Freeview as an SD channel, it's also on Freesat as an HD channel.

GB News is listed above as standard definition channel 216 on Freesat BUT it is in HD. I cannot therefore watch it while recording something else. Does freesat have an SD version of GB News?

Bill Hurley: GB News is only broadcast in HD on satellite. Which Freesat receiver are you using? I wasn't aware that there were any that didn't allow you to record another channel whilst watching a HD channel.

Does trying 216 instead of 217 make any difference?

Peter:

Are you using Freesat or Freeview? If Freeview, which transmitter do you receive, it's is fine with me.
