I was a war baby and we had it tough. when I first got married people were told to still pay 4d. national insurance, because our husbands payments would get us a state pension. when I retired I found my state pension was greatly reduced, also I had 8 years off work to have/bring up my children that reduced my pension once again. People who now have time off work to have children, the goverment buy their stamps for them. people get better money/benefits and help these day's and want to thank themselves lucky to have a job. I din't support this strike and they didn't ought to be allowed to hold the country to ransom. They ate making the money situation worse for everyone else.
