Anthony Little: Unfortunately Vintage TV is carried on the COM7 multiplex, which is not transmitted from the Storeton mast. Viewers in Merseyside will only be able to receive this mux if they are able to receive a signal from Moel y Parc on C32 or directly from Winter Hill on C31.

Astrid Terlouw: as reported by transmitter engineering, the Guisborough transmitter was off air between 18.58 and 19.34, also briefly between 22.00 and 22.02 yesterday 6th July 2016.

Geoff Sims: the status of the Ambergate transmitter is shown by BBC Engineering to be off air since 09.57 today, 8th July 2016. There is no time shown for an expected resumption of service.

Berenice : If you used to have Channel 4 at position 8 in the channel list but this slot is now occupied by a local TV service you will probably discover Channel 4 in the 800s. Carrying out a full retune should now place Channel 4 at position 7 in place of the defunct BBC3, if you receive your TV signals from Kilvey Hill. This is the new arrangement for the channel list in Wales.

J Preece: on those occasions that you discover Made in Cardiff stored at position 8 in the epg the tuner has detected a weak signal coming from Wenvoe which is unfortunately not strong enough to decode for reliable viewing. When Made in Cardiff has been stored in position 8 it is likely that Bay TV will be found in the 800s of the channel list if that signal was also detected during the scan. This is normal procedure when two or more services that are allotted the same logical channel number (epg slot) are found when scanning for channels. The digital UK postcode checker shows reception of Made in Cardiff to be possible in some areas of Swansea, assuming that a suitable aerial for reception of that service is connected to the receiver. Predictions for reception of Bay TV from Kilvey Hill have not yet appeared in the published data.

Meirion Jenkins: if you are experiencing interference to the COM muxes it is likely that the current weather conditions are enabling signals from Redruth in Cornwall and/or Wenvoe in South Wales to travel further than normal which then block reception of the COM muxes from The Wrekin in your area. In this case reception should be restored when conditions return to normal.

Kenneth Love: the full service transmitter that serves the Benderloch area is Torosay. Aerials should point to 259 degrees (almost West) and be set for vertical polarisation. Manual tuning requires C22 to be selected for PSB3 which carries the main HD channels. Reception is predicted to be good, but is subject to the amount of foliage present on any trees growing in the signal path.

chris : as part of the coverage of events at the Olympics the broadcasting hours of BBC4/BBC4HD have been temporarily extended. During this time BBC4HD is borrowing the capacity on PSB3 normally used by CBBCHD. The capacity on COM7 normally shared by CBEEBIESHD and BBC4HD will be used by CBBCHD and the displaced CBeebiesHD is temporarily housed on COM8. It is expected that these services will revert to their original multiplexes following the completion of the Olympics - 23rd August 2016 has been mentioned for this event.

KayPind: You are able to receive signals from both Wenvoe and Mendip, presumably with the aerial pointing to Mendip. If Channel 4 has been displaced from both position 4 and position 7 it would normally be expected in the 800s. There should also be two ITV regions present (West and Wales), these being at position 3 in the channel list and at a random number in the 800s. Do both of these services work correctly? If manual tuning is available on your receiver you could try manual tuning on C54 for the PSB2 mux from Mendip to see if that changes the situation, alternatively deleting the channel list and then doing a manual tune for each of the Mendip frequencies should give a full set of West region channels, assuming that there is a clear signal on each multiplex.
