Channel 4 HD to start on Freesat | Freesat

Does Windows 7 actually support DVB-S2 the same as it does DVB-S?

Also I know, nothing to do with C4 HD but, why is it BBC HD has had to share a transponder with BBC One SD since it launched in 2006? Why couldn't it have got it's own transponder so that it could use DVB-S2?

"Indoor aerials will never be suitable for digital reception in the UK."

Are there any countries where indoor aerials ARE suitbale for digital reception and if so where? And also, would it be a justifiable reason to move to and live in that country just because I could use indoor aerials for digital reception there?

I guess this will mean that Channel 4 HD will be the UK's first ever FTA DVB-S2 channel; I have yet to see a FTA UK channel using DVB-S2.

So once Channel 4 offically becomes FTA in April, no Channel 4 HD for Sky+HD users anymore?

Why won't the Sky+HD boxes work with FTA DVB-S2 and can an update be applied to make them work?

Malcolm Franke: Agreed! Why should we have to suffer just because of "strange people" being akward with things on this site? I hope what Braintist is saying won't be true; there are some articles I still like to chip in my thoughts dispite being old topics.

I must admit though, it does seem weird to see for the first time on this site the "Comments closed" thingy. We can blame that again on those who spoil it for us all.

"UK Free TV is here to help people. If you are rude or disrespectful all of your posts will be deleted and you will be banned." Does this mean if one got banned, they would get a "403 Forbidden" error when trying to access ukfree.tv at all, or will they just get something along the lines of "Sorry you are not allowed to comment" when they try to add a comment to anything?

Braintist: Just something else I was thinking as well, if somebody offered to purchase this website off you (not that I'm thinking of offering to), depending on the amount they offered, would you accept the offer and sell this website off?

Braintist: I wonder how easy it must be to keep all of the information about each and every single transmitter in the UK up to date on this website?

Braintist: If there happens to be any bugs with any of the features of this website you don't yet know of, or any of us have feature suggestions, is this article the proper place to post them?
