Yes ,thanks Norm , its without doubt the leaves, the PSB multiplex signals ,strength & quality are down, allowing the tv & recorder receivers to re-sensitisation so I can now get Sky News again ! Yippee ! Since I got a wideband aeriel in 2006 not had any probs until they buggered about with the tx ,for some reason in late Nov .Rich Halstead

When viewing the Tx coverage maps ,why does the the location of the mast , have to jump up & down like a dog on heat ? Very annoying & childish !

Why can`t you put heights in feet ,distances in miles ? I hate any metric crud , I am English , I want my birth right measurements! Anyhow aircraft fly in feet & distances nautical miles , all notams are in nm & feet for aircraft info , thats a danger area for pilots ! Check it out you will see I am right !

Napoleon got those metric measurements wrong. The Royal Navy Hydrographic Department had already surveyed most of the world in Imperial measurements, before he came on the scene. 1 degree lat & long ,is divided into 60 mins ( of a degree). Each degree is 60 nautical miles lat , long is squashed nearer the poles. The O.S. was also originally surveyed in Imperial , they just converted the original measurements to metric. If those measurements are so rubbish , why are they still in use on land & sea , why havn`t all buildings of English construction measurements throughout the world & still in use in North America fallen down then ? Including sending men to the moon , all done in Imperial , I REST my case !

I thought BBC 1 HD had no regional variations in England , yet I am getting Look East Inside Out, on both HD & SD ,has there been a sudden change ?

Ok , thanks ,normally it defaults to captions, with sounds of ,birdsong , planes , & helicopters, when regional news is on,I did not know it was being networked on HD too .

I have noticed since friday on BBC 1 SD ,that the guide menu has put in your local news region in the banner title so have BBC 1 East now as well as London . Did you know Freeview was going to do that ? ITV still says ITV . no region indication .Don`t know if they already had that in the Scottish Region .
