Since 18th Sept I have lost most of my freeview channels. I can still get Yesterday (12), Film4 and other smaller ones, but I have lost everything else, including BBC1, 2, 3, 4, ITV1, 2 and 3, Channel 4, Dave etc.
I have retuned several times and it is picking up 29 stations in all (nothing at all on signal 27).
I'm not sure what transmitter I'm on as this website claims I'm on Sandy Heath (despite there being a transmitter at Dallington in Northampton, 2 miles away). The Digital UK - Home website claims I'm on Sutton Coldfield.
My ariel hasn't changed, everything seems fine and is plugged in.
Any ideas? (NN56GB)

...and this morning I lost all the other channels. I know high pressure is supposed to affect the signal but this is ridiculous.

As I wasn't busy I made up a quick shield with a length of mesh and a couple of strips of tin foil, balanced the lot on top of the cold water tank and bingo 5 USA is back, gone from zero quality to half way up. Worth a go if you have a loft aerial.

Eric Half Bee: If you don't clear your channel list when you rescan, when a channel moves multiplex you will be left with an "artefact" in the 800-899 range. Try My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Hope someone here can help - we have Freeview HD built in to our Sony Bravia we used to get Freeview HD channels with no issue for ages.
About a month ago the HD channels stopped working - the channel was picked up in a scan but when tuning in the screen was black with intermittent bursts of the channel. I did a retune today and didn't even pick up any HD channels this time. No issues with any other channels. Has anything happened recently to cause this?

I'm still getting no channels. I've eliminated the problems on this page (https://ukfree.tv/fullstory.php?storyid=1107051892).
We are using an LG 32LF77 tv with built in HD freeview.
I've had a look at UHF 24, 27 and 48 (which contain most of the channels) to see the signal strength, as suggested on the above page, and it claims there is no signal at all. We are not using a signal booster or an attenuator and our ariel hasn't changed and is all plugged in
Does anyone have any other suggestions? (NN56GB)

Lesley: It depends on where you are receiving Freeview from, as it can be either Crystal Palace or Sandy.
If its Crystal Palace though then the forecast is poor up until next April, basically because Sandy also presently uses the same frequency as is used by Crystal Palace HD, albeit this on a temporary? basis until early May next year, and is something which has caused problems for quite a number of people who reside North of London and use Crystal Palace for HD.
There isn't really any easy cure for the problem, that is "if" its crystal Palace you are receiving from, and the reception problems can vary dependant on the atmospheric conditions prevailing at the time.
Nothing though is indicated as far as problems with Sandy is concerned.
